This Dallas incident, being in a state with such favorable CCW laws [or so, I’m told] happened. Wasn’t there *anyone* in the area of the shooting carrying, who might have stopped this killer?
Makes me feel helpless, knowing my CC handgun, would be worthless in an event with a sniper w/ a long gun.
The Texas State Rifle Association: a person commits an offense if he intentionally or knowingly “displays a firearm or other deadly weapon in a public place in a manner calculated to alarm.”

Heard the police chief this morning state other suspects are being looked at but wouldn’t comment further stating no clues would be given to let criminals know who they’re on to.

Shows 5-6 downed officers, staggered and distanced from each other. No way one guy did this that fast from a reasonable distance as to avoid detection. Even Annie Oakley on steroids couldn’t pull that off. This is several vectors of fire at different angles, an ambush by trained shooters.
The peaceful protest was known about for how long? Someone living in Dallas planned the attack to know the terrain, to have firefight that lasted for hours and able to maneuver. One lone shooter was never flanked in all that time? BS. Multiple shooters.
He wil be a hero in the African community.

He appears to have been 'radicalized' against western society and the American way. Islamists tend to get radicalized in mosques and prisons while leftists tend to get radicalized in colleges and community organizing fellowships.
They tried negotiation for hours. He decided he didn’t want to negotiate and kept opening fire on cops.
How long should the cops have to be shot at before they can take steps?
How long did the government wait out the Bundy’s? Should they have instead dropped a bomb in? No one was being hurt or risked after the opening shots, there really doesn’t appear to be a rush, they could have waited him out. Using a bomb sets a really bad precedence.
Happened before in Philly, the Philly cops dropped a bomb on black radicals, blew them up and burned down the whole damn block too.

Um, yeah, people were in danger afterwards. He was in an elevated position in a parking tower with potential to hit people in a quarter of downtown Dallas as soon as the sun came up. The tower was a high rise building with open sides interrupted by waist high walls and no good sight lines in for police snipers.
Again, what would you have the police do? Wait for the sun to come up so he can shoot more people?

I’m not a troll, not in the slightest, and I don’t like them using drones to kill people, as if we were in Syria or Afghanistan.
If it becomes accepted police practice to kill people with drones, as MaoBama does every day, I can easily see multiple repeats of Waco, our government, using drones, to kill conservatives and 2nd Amendment supporters here in the US.

Yes, there were plenty of people there that could stop him. But they were all wearing uniforms and did not know they were being targeted.
The BLM crowd he was using was his cover and he had no reason to suspect resistance from them. Easy peasy for Micah X because someone like you was not there.
Didn’t they see any value in holding him under siege till he got hungry and thirsty enough to surrender? Or how about sleeping gas or tear gas?
The thug could be interrogated for connections and then prosecuted and executed when found guilty.
The connections are so-o-o-o-o valuable. Who else was involved? Who else are potential murderers from his groups?
I think law enforcement may be too squeemish to pursue interrogation and then follow up leads.
Maybe they would rather spend their time confiscating Grandpa’s shotgun and hand searching Grandma at the airport. Far less threatening, and they get quite a charge out of the feeling of authority and paid at the same time.
Besides, perhaps they wouldn’t want to offend a partially black man in the white house nor the wife of a slick snake, who have the agenda to divide the people of America by race so as to weaken and enslave them.
