There’s really not that much difference between shooting them and blowing them up. Really so long is the person is an active threat I don’t have a problem with it. Our biggest issue with cops these days is them going to deadly force without a threat, when there’s a threat screw it. I mean let’s face it, if you were in that situation and had access to a robobomb you’d use it right? So why shouldn’t they. Never fault anybody for using the tools available.

There is, as you say, not much difference between shooting them and blowing them up. Dead is dead. And lethal force is lethal force.

It should be scrutinized as carefully as any other use of force.

Exactly. If he is actively shooting at you and deadly force is authorize and warranted then who cares what kind of deadly force it was? As long as the collateral damage was not high.
