That intent argument is ridiculous. I worked with classified material through Top Secret for 25 years. It was hammered into us that any violation, accidental or not, intentional or not, would have negative consequences, how severe a consequence depending on the seriousness of the breach. The ignorance argument is also rendered void by the periodic briefings every bearer of a security clearance undergoes. Comey re-wrote the law to exclude the beest.

I wish all Americans knew this....Of course the director of the FBI knew this.
Instead, during the questioning of Mr. Comey about the decision not to criminally charge Hillary, democrats were seen loudly praising Comey for his utmost integrity .
