BO doesn’t want to repeat the truth but wants to tie everything into a pretzel to fit HIS narrative.
Flynn.....someone a while back (Corey, Carson?) floated the idea of picking a Democrat VP. If I remember correctly, Trump said no. Critic of Obama is good, but there’s more to VP than that. I don’t want 4-8 years of ‘it’s Obama’s fault’ a la ‘it’s Bush’s fault’.
Newt.....every time there’s a thread on FR about Newt being VP, there’s quite a few posters with the ‘God NO!’ comments. Not sure if it’s fringe Nevertrumpers looking for any excuse not to vote for Trump or what. So not sure how much help he would be. But I do like him.
Odd, when whites or Christians do stupid evil things, he fails to remind us that blacks and Islamists do it also.

Have just started looking at Lt. General Flynn for possible Vice Presidential Candidate. Great story on Drudge this morning. He has not been talked about much and looks very interesting!
I think he just disqualified himself this morning on ABC, talking about the “right to choose.”
Just read your opening post. Beautiful club car. I’d like a Mimosa please with brunch. :) Say, you know the more I read of Flynn, the more I like him. With the world the way it is, I have to say it, bet this guy is on the way to being the pick (70% certain) and bet he switches to Republican/Independent for the General bringing a lot of disgruntled Democrat voters with him.

On a completely different note: ONE lucky person in Indiana won the Mega Millions jackpot, totalling a whopping $540,000,000! FWIW- The ticket was sold in Cambridge City.

2. Is he smart?
3. Is he street smart/
4. How can he handle the press?
5. Family life?
6. Is he better, and I mean much better than the coward Petreus?
7. Is he more a Patton or more a Beetle Bailey?
8. Where’s he from, what is his background?
9. WHat does he thing about Trump?
10. Can he be trusted?
Speech on veterans should be a good one. Somehow, the idea that Congress has formed a committee to deal with the VA problems over the next 20 years doesn’t give me much comfort. We need the Trump treatment.
Yes, it does please me to respond - in other words - I plan to be here with my Trump Train friends.
So many possible choices for VP. It just makes me glad that I’m not the one who has to ultimately decide. I do hope that the odious anti-Trump faction doesn’t get a chance to put their worthless 2-cents in.
I'll be in Manhattan tomorrow but not for work. My son is down for a visit so I'm taking him to visit downtown. We'll start with the High Line, walk across Battery Park and then over the Brooklyn Bridge. Then we will start hitting some pubs (he's in his 20s) including McSorleys Old Ale House in the East Village.
I'm not enthused about Gen. Flynn as a VP possibility. I hope that Trump does not tap him. But regardless, I'll support the ticket no matter who he chooses. Maybe his name is getting floated as a distraction. I'm thinking that by this time next week, we'll know who the VP will be.
A very interesting week it shall be.
Newt can not be second and for the life of him he can't stop himself getting out in front of America and saying Trump is wrong on an issue. Privately yes, NOT for the world to see.
Newt's a back stabber and he cares more about what the NYT's think about him then respect for Trump. We need someone who can work WITH Trump not against him!
I don't even know where Cambridge City is let alone buy a ticket there.

I’ve always liked Cathy MacMorris Rogers from Washington state as a VP candidate, but not sure how she feels about Trump - or the job, for that matter!
