Hope this works.
How do! Former Lakeside, and Pinetop resident- and (I) worked at McNary, on the White Mnt. Apache Indian Reservation. I and my siblings spread our parents ashes off of a trail loop just north of Pinetop, and south of, and under a fire lookout tower, many moons ago. I also worked (and lived) in Show Low, working at Summerlin building blocks, near the airport. Muhammed Ali trained for a boxing match at the Show Low airport around this time frame. (1975)
One of the oldest Circle K’s, is on the way out of town, when heading east. I rode a bull in a rodeo, either on Memorial day weekend, or Labor day weekend, then helping during the calf roping event, by twisting tails of calves while in their pen, adding an incentive to bolt into the arena. I remember a common family name up their- the Penrods, one of which hired me to work in the rodeo.
Fond memories at the age of 18.
