Only one was legally carrying a gun if I recall correctly. And for him, the NRA response may be normal, don’t know by example how they initial respond to others for comparison. If there is a difference based on race, as a lifetime member, would sure like to see that clarified and addressed.

The Philando Castile case is not so clear cut however, the NRA promotes responsible gun ownership, and if an officer detains you and tells you not to move because you are carrying a gun, the NRA does not advise anyone, regardless of skin color, to reach for the gun.
There is something intrinsically wrong with these people and it is incurable.

I have seen how the decent Black people ( and people of all races)are intimidated and victimized by psychopathic dirt bag gang bangers.
I support and encourage gun ownership by these decent people so they have at least some means to protect themselves from the ultra violent predatory black gangsters and wannabes.

I would say the Rev. Al Sharpton needs to get his head out of his @$$ and pay attention to what the NRA is actually saying and doing regarding the civil rights of black gun owners, but that would require him to be interested in truth.

If there is one thing that tragedies like the Orlando shooting and the two shooting incidents could help bring about, it’s to show that even the Democratic Party’s core constituencies are in favor of the 2nd amendment and individual gun rights. There have been a lot of stories about gay groups and individuals buying guns in the wake of the Orlando shooting, and the two shootings in Minnesota and Louisiana will hopefully encourage blacks to come out four-square for their 2nd amendment rights, too.
