I’ve read that he was a convicted felon and a gang member. How would he have a valid permit?
I’ve read that he was Crip and had traffic violations. I’ve never read that he was a convicted felon.
He certainly didn’t behave like a CCW holder. The crime rate among carry permit holders is infinitesimal.
Alton Sterling was those things. Phil Castile, I don’t think he was a convicted felon. Being a gang member is not illegal and I don’t think you can keep someone from getting a permit because of that.
I think that was the other guy in Batton rouge
And I heard the LEO who pulled over this vehicle stated he was pulling over an, “Armed robbery suspect”. If he really believed that why did he not instead initiate a felony traffic stop? Why would the LEO stop the vehicle and simply stroll up to the window asking for ID and registration?
Sounds like suicide to me.
Good question but..., the anti-Second Amendment crowd could easily corrupt some CCW clerks to issue and therefore "Prove" that only weapon confiscation would work to ensure "Safety" in this "Post Constitutional America"!
