a ticket that seems highly likely to be defeated, maybe in a landslide

I don't think so. Indeed, just the opposite.

he sounds like he has some (other) positive points, but not for the Republican VP nomination, imho. Maybe somewhere in the defense or security agencies?

I bet Donald selects someone else for the VP slot...

And we can TOTALLY believe the Washington Compost, right?

They want Trump supporters to think he’ll pick a pro-abort VP to get us to not vote.

I don’t see any chance of a military man on the ticket.
Put him somewhere else where he can use his skills, not on a political ticket.

He says a phrase what is considered profanity in Obamaland, "Islamic Terrorists"

Yeah, this has already been posted here about a 100 times in the last two days and already discredited half that number.

I’ll be SO happy when Trump finally makes his VP pick so we can end these pointless, inane post about these speculative articles speculating on who Trump should pick for VP, and get on with the far more important pointless, inane post about why Trump should or should not have picked whomever he picked for VP.

Wouldn’t surprise me one bit.

Three SCOUTS picks.

Nothing else matters.

Would you rather have a pro choice VP (an office ‘not worth a bucket of warm spit’ to quote one holder) or two or three SCOTUS picks who can actually change the course of events?

With Trump, NO bible believing Christian is going to get a person they can actually respect or admire. However one might get someone who does not further hasten the fall of the Republic.

I’ll take that.

Genuine adults suck it up and hold their noses when something unpleasant is the overall best alternative, be it diapers or plumbing or dealing with something that died. I do not think Donald Trump a moral exemplar; neither was Sampson, nor J Edgar Hoover or US Grant... but the alternative was worse. I’ve worked for worse bosses; there comes a time to follow the person who can actually ‘drive the bus’ because the alternative is going over a cliff.

Just a cranky .02 :-)

oh yes, the fellow who looked really really good...
(to me anyway)
until he innocently tripped up asking what he was doing at a national debate? sort of like Dukakis in his tank?

anyway I do not recall much about him but he certainly did look like a capable fellow, yes indeed.

any other military people...like on the D or R tickets especially ...since DDE?

Women should choose the color of the nursery, to bottle or breast feed.

Not to murder a child.

This guy is a NOPE for me.

I have no problem with women chosing to be in the military.
I do have a problem with lower standards to give them positions they could not handle with the standards from years ago.
