I cannot find a reference to this, but I remember a debate between Orin Hatch and Jesse Jackson on gun control; Hatch against, Jesse for. Jesse was preaching as he is want to do and Orin just sat there and listen to the crap and platitudes fall from Jesse's mouth. After several minutes, Jesse looked at Hatch and said: "So, what do you say to that!"

Hatch looked at him and said: "Mr. Jackson, if we removed all of the shooting deaths committed by black men between the ages of 17 and 35, we'd have a lower crime rate than Switzerland."

The camera panned to Jackson...

Crickets...fade to commercial...

White lives don't matter.

All kidding aside - there was a case in New York in the 90s where a doctor got lost driving into Yonkers and came across undercover police - they told him to step out of his car - he thought they were robbers (or maybe he was really there to buy drugs?) and shot into car. They were acquitted.

Let me do a quick look --------- found it!!!

http://www.nytimes.com/1993/09/15/nyregion/judge-acquits-detective-in-doctor-s-fatal-shooting.html

Judge Acquits Detective In Doctor's Fatal Shooting WHITE PLAINS, Sept. 15— A Mount Vernon police detective was acquitted today of all charges in the fatal shooting of a doctor who got lost on his way to pick up a date. The death of Dr. Lenas Kakkouras last February touched off cries of police brutality from his friends in New York's Greek-Cypriot community who said the doctor was not capable of the irrational and violent actions that the police had described. That division of opinion continued today in the courtroom here after the verdict was announced. Court officers moved in to separate supporters of Detective Anthony Rozzi from the doctor's friends and family, who had crowded the courtroom daily, some wearing black armbands. Justice Nicholas Colabella of State Supreme Court, who heard the manslaughter case without a jury, handed down the verdict, saying "It's the best decision I can make, folks." As the verdict was announced, Detective Rozzi's wife, Susan, gasped out loud and the brothers of the slain doctor sat in stunned silence. Vincent Manzione, president of the Mount Vernon Police Benevolent Association, said, "We put out faith in the criminal justice system, and they didn't let us down." 'This Is Not Justice' Deborah Anaxagorou, who has acted as a spokeswoman for the family, said: We do not accept it. This is not justice." District Attorney Carl A. Vergari of Westchester County said the case had been "extremely difficult, but that it had to be prosecuted," adding, "We did as thorough and as fair a job as we could." During the four-day trial, the prosecutor, James McCarty, told the judge that Dr. Kakkouras, a native of Cyprus, had once nearly been a victim of a crime in Queens, where he lived. He said Dr. Kakkouras feared that the two undercover officers, who were scruffily dressed, were there to rob him. Dr. Kakkouras, a 29-year-old pediatric neurologist, was en route to a dinner date in Yonkers when he made a wrong turn and wound up on the deserted street in Mount Vernon. The defense attorney, Richard Ross, acknowledged that Dr. Kakkouras was afraid and said his fear had been intensified by comments from his dinner date, Linda Vargas, who had warned him not to get lost while going to her house. Mr. Ross argued that Detective Rozzi also was afraid because of Dr. Kakkouras's erratic behavior that night. Car and Gun As Detective Rozzi and his partner approached the car that night, Dr. Kakkouras put it in reverse and struck the partner and momentarily pinned Detective Rozzi between the cars. Then Dr. Kakkouras swung the car around and aimed it toward Detective Rozzi, the police said. Detective Rozzi fired three shots, striking Dr. Kakkouras in the shoulder, even though he testified that departmental rules advise not firing at a moving vehicle. Dr. Kakkouras later left his car and scuffled with Detective Rozzi when the fatal shot went off. Earlier in the day, Detective Rozzi, a 12-year-veteran of the force, took the stand and said he had never meant to hurt Dr. Kakkouras. "I didn't shoot him," he testified. "He knocked me down. The shot was accidental. It was never done on purpose." Published: September 15, 1993

In truth we have no real idea what crime stats truly are. Uniform Crime Reports are voluntary and an estimated 30 percent of all police departments don’t report.

Of course, they don’t qualify for federal grants, which was the states money anyway, but I digress...

You are likely unaware of that irony

Segregation laws like gun control at blacks were to a large degree for that very reason much like much of black codes laws

Fear of black group behavior and to a lesser degree their political power if gained

And I ask anyone......were those fears unfounded?

Take say issaquenna county Mississippi north of Vicksburg....80-90% black population from reconstruction till today......if you were a white landholder who toiled and clearer your cotton or soybean farm there what would you do?

It’s like Rhodesia

More telling is that in those days blacks as a group behaved much much better as a culture with only 20-25% illegitimacy then

We are in fact in much more precarious situation today than most realize

Those of us from majority black areas know

Absolutely disgusting how the media in this country causes so much trouble. They deliberately incite riots then laugh it up just like they did over 20 year ago with the Rodney King case. People losing businesses, cars wrecked, houses burned, looting, cops assassinated, all so Tad and Bunny Liberal can give each other air kisses at cocktail parties “Ia ha ha ha Bunny! We did it again! Did you see how that mans store was destroyed? Oh ta ha ha! That will get us ratings!” They are just absolute scum scum scum of the earth, and if that ain’t bad enough, they are also doing everything they possibly can to get the Clinton criminal cabal back into the White house.
