You are correct. There is nothing wrong with letting a 9 year old fire a tripod mounted machine gun. There is, however something very wrong (stupid) about letting an inexperienced 9 year old fire a bullet hose such as a full auto mini Uzi. Of course there are undoubtedly many capable and firearm experienced 9 year olds who could do so, and I don’t want to see clowns like Markey make the decision.

My wife’s cousin’s son was a range master for a large PD. Now he teaches personal security to bodyguards and chauffeurs. He also teaches AK-15 and 47, if I have the correct.

His 9 and 12 year old daughters are certified. They lived near a forest on 10 acres and he prefers them top shoot. My wife went and qualified . The daughters had pink stocks (is that the correct word) on their rifles.

2. I believe that actually, they aren’t quite the same thing. Arithmetic is a subset of math. Arithmetic may be math in a sense because it’s a subset, but math encompasses more than just arithmetic.
