Trump checkmated her. She steps down, he gets credit for it. She doesn’t, he replaces her. Plus, she has to recuse herself if there’s an election-related dispute that goes up to the Supreme Court (Like Bush/Gore did).

There will be no recusal if this election were to end up in the supreme Court. Liberals reject anyone who questions their ethics or lack thereof. Ethics and laws are for little people, there will be no recusal.
I was about to post the same thing! Ruth stepped in it big time when she opened her mouth disparaging Trump and letting her opinion of him be known. No apology can erase that and since it is a very good possibility that the results of this election will be decided in the courts (all the way to the SC), she would definitely have to recuse herself.
