“Remember how Barack Obama had zero family (other than Michelle) give testimony at his conventions? Even today we know very little about his larger family, his past lives. It’s all clouded in mystery. Wonder why.

And Hillary’s family? Are you kidding me? Nothing there except spooky skeletons in dark closets.”

That’s why I call him The Man From Nowhere. She seems more “normal” but after all these years there is no sense of her parents or other family. Just herself, Bill and Chelsea.

I agree. Usually, when someone gets a high public profile, all sorts of people who knew them in the past pop up - saying positive and negative things.

Classmates at school and university usually have various anecdotes, and people like to look back and remember if they saw this person's potential. It is also human nature that people gossip, and tell embarrassing stories - that is the cost of fame. I can remember women who went out with GW Bush recalling he was a cheap date, and others saying he was sports mad, etc.

But with Obama, there is nothing. His team seemed aware of this, so the diaries of "former love" Genevieve Cook appeared. But they were obviously fake, and accompanied by photos of young Obama which seemed photoshopped.
