This is why I go to Panera instead.

Panera, gun free zone.

Starbucks is the poster child for racists. Anyone who supports the "Black Lives Matter" assumptions is saying that they do not believe blacks are capable of living in a place that has the rule of law as the guiding principle.

What message are they conveying here? That they hold blacks to a lower standard of lawful behavior than everyone else. Or maybe that us white folks better stay away from Starbucks. Because our lives don't matter.

Gosh, I'm so sick of know-it-all liberals who know what's best for everyone else, that would be people who they see as inferior to them. It's been this way since the 1960s.

Soon that’ll be akin to yelling “Alla Akbar!”

Just buy a Nespresso machine, you can get the generic pods for about $0.25 apiece, get a milk frother too and whatever flavored syrup you like for a couple bucks more and you don’t ever need to go to Starbucks again :)

Everyone should visit and when the troubadour’s start shouting, drop your coffee and leave. After a day or two, perhaps a week of cleaning up sticky coffee messes they would probably get a clue...

I’d yell “all lives matter”, pour my beverage on the floor and depart

I had the same first thought. - Then following that with cutting up my Gold Card right in front of the manager and saying "I wont be needing this any more."

My Gold card has a zero balance, but they would not know that.

Another reason to shun Starbucks. I also avoid Caribou Coffee...owned by Saudis. I prefer Dunn Brothers... coffee roasted on site and locally owned franchises

This thread should be taken down. On a site where hardly anyone reads the article before commenting, the headline leads us to believe Starbucks is doing this. It is partly the publisher’s fault for printing a misleading headline, but let’s not be a party to deception.

Too bad—I thought it would be fun to get some miniature “Trump” buttons to put in the tip container.

Guys, did any of you read the article. This is NOT an official Starbucks directive. It’s the customers giving the group name as their name.

It is the customers who say their names are “BLACK LLIVES MATTER,” thereby victimizing the “Baristas” who are then ostensibly forced to shout the words.

Whatever... Starbucks has terrible coffee, and it costs a bomb. No thanks!

Wanna know why I am reasonably “wealthy” and can afford to spend whatever I want on a cup of coffee? It’s because I DON’T spend four dollars on a cup of coffee!

Guys, did any of you read the article.

Nawp. Two kinds of threads on FR turn into bitchfests about the company no matter what the actual content: the ones involving Starbucks and the ones involving Microsoft. You just go with it.

I have encourage people to put the name TRUMP on the screen at bowling and use the name TRUMP to be called at coffee houses and restaurants.

Okay, I guess...if you don't mind saliva with your order.
