Report: Trump about to make first mistake in VP pick, as predicted by Ann Coulter

Report: Trump about to make first mistake in VP pick, as predicted by Ann Coulter, July 6, 2016: MY VP PREDICTION: TRUMP'S FIRST MISTAKE.

I won't believe it, until I hear it from the Trump's mouth. Pence is the combo-platter of disaster. He’s all in for corporate America bringing in as many guest workers as they please to replace American workers, tried to sell the monster amnesty as a "compromise bill." (How about this compromise: We start with a wall...) He also somehow managed to tick off both sides in gay marriage debate. After his state passed a law passed protecting Christians from having to participate in gay marriages, all hell broke loose. Pence thought to himself: 'I have semi heading for me. Should I just stand here? Yes, I think I’ll just stand here!' First, he allowed himself to be portrayed as a right-wing homophobic nut and then -- just days later -- he sold out to the left-wing activists, anyway.

What an armchair general article this is.

This reminds me of the hysteria someone was trying to gin up during the Republican convention of 1980, trying to force Reagan’s choice. Walter Cronkite was the one that came up with the co-presidency idea, pulled it straight out of the air.

Trump may not have even made up his mind yet, and someone wants Pence.

She won’t. She has been defending Trump since the beginning. I think Ann is just concerned an establishment pick (which Ann considers Pence to be) will hamper Trump’s efforts because she thinks he won’t be the big supporter Trump needs.

I don’t care who he picks as long as he picks someone who fights.

Does Pence know how to fight?

Yeah, before Cruz started lying and ripping into Trump, I would have loved it if he were VP.

An establishment amnesty pimp is not a good choice. The media presstitutes will play up the divide between Trump and Pense on amnesty and globalization.

Christie, though, has been unquestionably loyal to Donald Trump. He’s one of the few I can think of besides Sessions who hasn’t blabbed anything negative to the media.

It would be better if he did not pick an establishment guy the rinos and uniparty folks would be so desirous to have.

Makes it easier to devise a way to get Trump out of the way.

Look at what lengths they are going to,to screw him at the convention.

Is pence perfect, no has his faults but he gives the ticket even more stability and despite what purist are wailing about is conservative with some quirks. He beats the hell out of Chispie Kreme and the general he was considering.

I think Trump went with thought I need someone qualified to sit in big chair if something happens to me rather than how can the VP help get me elected.

If pence drived you away from the ticket you were never serious about supporting Trump in first place.

How do you have a anti status quo candidate running with a status quo candidate? The pick makes no sense.

Exactly.

The “Trump only tipped 24.46536% at the restaurant instead of 25%, so I’m not voting for him” crowd will always find something to use as an excuse.

Lyin’ Ted has always been a Bushie Establishmentarian....and still is a Bushie & Goldman-Sachs “NO BORDERS” puppet. He cannot be trusted and he still has NOT provided any documentation (CRBA) that shows he’s a US Citizen.

Newt goes leftist from time-to-time - totally unpredictable.

Christie was never in then running...thank God!

Pence was the obvious choice.

For the most part, I agree, but sometimes the pick can make a world of difference.

For example, if John McLame had NOT picked Sarah Palin, he would have been drubbed by Obama like Mondale was by Reagan!

Amazing that in the entire country he couldn’t find a woman or a minority who was acceptable to be VP. GOP isn’t the white man’s club...it just looks that way. Dumb, dumb dumb.

If you look at the recent polls, Pence makes a lot of sense. The high level of undecideds are Trump's votes to lose. A large number of the undecideds are probably adopting a "wait and see" attitude on Trump. A big concern among this group is Trump's perceived erratic behavior. The selection of a solid but not controversial politician is reassuring to those who are worried about Trump's judgement. Selecting a controversial VP would not be reassuring to the undecideds.

The fact that the polls are showing essentially a tie with a large percentage of undecideds bodes very well for Trump. Unless he makes a mistake, the undecideds are going to break his way in large margins. Hillary is a known commodity who will have a much harder time convincing the undecideds than the more-unknown Trump.

The selection of Pence shouldn't lose any votes for Trump but is a nice fence-mending gesture while not surrendering to the GOPe. This should shore up his support among Republican voters, not all of whom are convinced on Trump yet.

LoL no. VP picks are so overblown. And Pence won’t hurt Trump.

Judging by FR, there was no one Trump could pick who would be “right.”

Sorry Ann. Pence’s strengths are that he doesn’t have the charisma to lead a movement if Trump is impeached, so it’s impeachment insurance; he draws a bunch of traditionalist GOP and GOPe types and further pads Trump’s Christian conservative support. And most of all, he doesn’t try to upstage the star. That is crucial in this campaign.
