On a side note about the media.
I’m streaming Sky news and on many many occasions the talking head has said that they have “Horrific” pictures of the carnage in this attack, but we won’t/can’t show them.
Not that I want to see them.
However, It was the medias displaying of the dead and wounded American Soldiers in Vietnam that led to a shift in public opinion about that war.
I know that the images will find their way “Online” for those that want to see them, but it will never carry the same impact.
I always get a little disgusted at people who proclaim something “too violent to see”. Some poor schlub had to LIVE it, not just watch it.
Good point about the images being used the way they were.
True, maybe this ought to be the time (at last) when ever civilized person is required to view such images and learn about what is really going on. All the politically correct cupcakes remain so sanitized in their pious platitudes....
Shep saw one of the videos. Said there were dismembered and decapitated bodies including children. I will not be watching any of them. I know my limits.
