Those were brought in by male politicians that one could not even vote for, in their vast majority. So women’s suffrage (which existed in some of the original colonies at one time) is extraneous. That is, until Woodrow Wilson made it an issue; his methodology thereof had the looks of vote-buying measures.
Well I wasn’t referring specifically to suffrage in this case. But it does bear noticing that the WOMAN brought the Muslim into HER household.
As far as male politicians go, most are elites with polygynous tendencies and no respect for marriage (hence no fault divorce), and a tendency to pander to buy women’s votes (the welfare state and family courts), and they pander to female hypergamy (which dovetails into the elite’s desire for covert polygyny).
Male politicians who are always looking for votes and approval. If women want refugees, they get them.
