We are living in a post- constitutional country where the head of the FBI twisted himself into a pretzel in order to not call for the indictment of the ex-secretary of state. Where the head of the IRS faced no charges for allowing a particular group of citizens to be targeted for IRS scrutiny, where a pResident could declare on the eve of his reelection that a terrorist act was the result of a spontaneous riot caused by a video- and get away with it. Where that same pResident could run guns to Mexico and get away with it.
Anyone who expects the rule of law to be upheld by anyone in the ruling class, especially by Ruth buzzy ginsburg , they haven’t been paying attention the last 7+ years.
I agree. There’s no way she’d recuse herself, and all those “friends” who have taken her to the woodshed over her comments would be arguing strenuously that she should not do so.
The reason they’re pissed at her now is that they know they’ll look like the self-serving jerks they are if they’re ever forced to rationalize those positions, but rationalize them they will. Every single one of them.
