If she is referring to the US economy, Bill Clinton was credited with Newt’s successful leadership in Congress. Newt did all the heavy lifting while Clinton was doing all the heavy breathing.

The good thing is that, if Bill dies before the election, there won't just be a sympathy effect. Some people will wonder what the heck she's going to do about the economy with Bill gone.
