Incirlik Airbase has long been used to forward base some nukes for NATO. A normal administration might have redeployed them, but this one is as likely to look away and leave the door open.
They also have the biggest Army in the Middle East, the most operational tanks and the most artillery - as well as the production base to produce their own weapons and ammo.
Hope it was not the Russians engineering this coup - the loss of Turkey would be epic.
