Yep. Just saying, the people in the streets reflects more than Erdogen “popularity,” the clerics are urging popular uprising too. I wonder on this too, what fraction of the population is stepping up for the imams and Erdogen. Things would look messy in the US if say all the aggrieved blacks turned out for a fight, but they wouldn’t win in the end, they (the aggrieved ones) are less than 5% of the population.
