Yes, much like the citizens of Libya and Egypt, and how did THOSE overthrows work out? Of yeah, much worse people took charge.

Sure, there’s a chance it could actually be good guys taking charge in Turkey, much like there’s a chance that when you flip a coin it will land on its edge. But history teaches that they usually don’t. The Mid East is filled with unsavory characters and most of their bad governments get overthrown by a different flavor of bad government. It’s good to have hope, but if you’re a gambler, take the under, the replacement will probably be another kind of bad guy.

This isn’t citizens. This is the militay.

The FIRST Egyptian overthrow was by fanatic muslims. The SECOND one was by the military and it was a GREAT move that is still holding the line.

Big difference. This is not an arab spring event. This is an ANTI arab spring event.
