What is beginning to surface is that there has been a rift between Comey and the Obama Administration. Lynch is refusing to answer any question into Hillary’s emails before the House Judicial Committee. She claims it would be “inappropriate” for her to answer and tells them to talk to Comey. She said, “As attorney general, I am not able to provide any further comment on the facts or the substance of the investigation.” Since she has declined to indict Hillary, there is no longer an investigation. Even under the Freedom of Information Act, she must comply.
Lynch avoided every possible question. She managed to frustrate the committee like no other Attorney General in history. One member even said he missed Eric Holder. One member asked her, “Driving down the road, speed limit says 55, I’m doing 65. Have I broke the law?” Her arrogant reply was, “You would have to ask the Highway Patrol.” If she cannot answer even that question, she should be impeached from her position.
This is starting to demonstrate that Comey did not inform Lynch or Obama that he was going to air all the evidence and then claim no recommendation, because even if he did recommend an indictment, Lynch would never go against party politics. It is becoming clear that Comey aired the evidence because he knew that Lynch would never release anything and then point to his recommendation of no indictment. Comey was pulling a cover-your-ass move.
Lynch should be impeached, sanctioned, dismissed from her post and held in contempt of Congress.

Why didn’t all this background on Comey come up during the bipartisan lovefest confirmation? I guess we got sand bagged.

I’ve been too busy to stay up on a lot of stuff going on right now so forgive me if my post is stupid. Did Comey say he couldn’t say whether there is an FBI investigation? If so, then how can he say the investigation recommends no indictment? How are we able to know that the FBI was investigating Hillary?
If the FBI refuses to investigate a critical crime, how would anybody know and hold them accountable?

My take is that Comey had spent lot’s of time working on his presentation in the weeks before the actual presentation, getting prepared to defend his guilty verdict.
Then Bubba gave Lynch a proposal that she couldn’t refuse on the plane.
Lynch then forced Comey to not indict or face a walk in Ft Marcy park.
So then Comey decided to skip the Hillary Saturday lie fest because - at this point what difference does it make, and don’t bother to put her under oath..
Then he tacked a last paragraph to his presentation, whilst flipping backyard 4th of July hamburgers, resulting in her Thighness to get out of jail free card.

OK, at least any one of the above would be a good start - but, why is it that nothing is going to happen? Don't the Republicans have the votes and the power to do something harsh when someone in the administration is so defiant?
Lynch was going to bury the Clinton e mail investigation so deeply in Grand Jury secrecy that the facts of the would not see the light of day for 30 years
Lynch thought she had her FBI leaks plugged up and under control by the secrecy agreement she made the FBI investigators sign.
Comey exposed the basic facts of the case and then kept it out of the grand jury
The investigation is now concluded so the shroud of secrecy is no longer needed.
Much of the information could be available legally via FOIA filings so the FBI may be able to release the non secret info to the public without FBI agents having to risk lie detectors and firing for leaking info in violation of the draconian Lynch secrecy agreements she made the agents sign
Wish our military would do as the Turkish military is doing. Just like Clinton, Obama has decimated our military and replaced all higher-ups with politically correct ‘yes’ men. This was to insure their ability to stay in power.

Why could the FBI disclose that they were investigating the SoS email issue but can’t disclose whether they are investigating the Clinton Foundation? Thanks to anybody who can help me understand this.
The FBI disclosed that they also - in addition to the Ferguson people and the MO AG - were investigating the Michael Brown death, and even that they were having their own autopsy done. Why could they disclose those things?
