U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz and U.S. House Speaker Paul Ryan are among those speaking to the Texas delegation next week at the Republican National Convention, according to a tentative schedule obtained by The Texas Tribune...

Cruz's speech could be his only public remarks in Cleveland beside his address Wednesday night to all of the convention's delegates...

A spokeswoman said Cruz will not be at the convention Thursday night, meaning he is likely to miss the speech in which his former rival, Donald Trump, accepts the Republican nomination...

What I know is that the #NeverTrump delegates attempting (and reports are still might attempt funny business next week) to stage a coup and replace Trump are, at least the prominent ones, Cruz delegates. Cruz had a chance to tell these people to knock it off, honor the rules, and vote for the will of the people. Cruz did no such thing.

I know Trump is trying to unite the party and is hoping he can obtain some support from Cruz people if he allows Ted a speaking slot at the convention. However, I don’t think I would of if I were him. Ted is causing division. First, he won’t endorse him. Second, is the delegate situation. Third, he is now leaving before Trump speaks? Ted is there because he wants to make his pitch for 2020 if Trump doesn’t win. It’s self serving.

Maybe Carly could speak too. After all she’s Ted’s VP choice. LOL

LOL...

You know, I just listened to Pence respond to being nominated.

His gracious comments about Trump were some of the very few I’ve heard. Yes folks build him up when they introduce him, but here was a guy agreeing with his agenda, and proud of it.

I pity Ted Cruz and his inability to gasp what is going on here.

Trump or Hillary Ted? Which is it big fella?

Honest people feel the same way. I hit the mute button and turn on sub-titles when she speaks.

By Texas standards I don’t think he qualifies as a
big fellar at 5” 8” in his boots.

So Ted gets to speak, but he doesn’t stick around for the nomination speech on Thursday night. He must have a “pressing commitment” that he can’t avoid.

Undoubtedly a Canadian conference of some sort in Winnepeg.

BRING BACK SINATRA..."THE VOICE" !!!

I hide under the bed when Sarah is shrieki.....er, speaking.....just like my late little cockapoo used to do all day and night on the Fourth of July.

When creepy Count Cruzula is speaking in his shiver-inducing, metallic-tinged, grating voice, I scatter garlic around the room in strategic places, clutch a holy object to hold up when needed......and keep a wooden stake handy for when he gets going on Trump.

I think that accident that almost killed her husband, and her son, PSTD, on trial, is just a little to much for her right now...

She was asked, and I can understand a wife and mother wanting to be with her family, where all good wives and mothers should be...

Her son, a former Vet, has PSTD really bad, and is on trial for assault of some kind, and my prayers go out to the Palin family...

What a nonsensical commentary you’ve laid at Sarah’s feet.

The brave and fearless woman has never shied away from controversy so your theory is illogical.

She couldn’t give 2 sh*** what behar has to say, or anyone else for that matter.

No need to ‘guess’ at what is going on, I’m sure we’ll learn more in due time.
