And if one supported going into Iraq, fine. But why not SA ALSO??!?!!!

At the time there was talk on FR that the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq were to establish military bases, and air superiority over Iran. If you look at a map you can see why this might have been plausible.

That idea faded as the war dragged on and the traitorous left went after Bush.

Obama put the sword through any leverage we had over Iran with his demonstrated love affair with Islam, and thus Iran.

And that would have worked well with ONE MILLION MEN and letting the soldiers stay on in Iraq.

A million men would have completely sealed the borders and saved many of our soldiers’ lives.

The Iraqi soldiers getting paid would have dealt with the insurrections in a way only the Iraqis could.

200k isn’t NEARLY enough to occupy a country when the borders have enemies at every turn.
