You’re right. I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s exactly what he does.
I DO care, however, about the pledge Jeb Bush, Lindsey Graham, Ted Cruz, John Kasich and Carly Fiorina signed, pledging to support the nominee.
They would just claim that Trump is not yet the "official" nominee. Just shows us all how slimy they are.

You and me both. And worse, they knew when they gave that pledge that they had no intention of following it if, by some weird quirk of fate (in their minds), Trump ended up winning the primary race.
