When delegates arrive for the first day of the Republican National Convention, they’ll have no doubts about where to go. Quicken Loans Arena is plastered in a gaudy array of cutesy elephants and red, white and blue banners.

Cleveland has the dubious distinction of being the first city in the country to host a political convention with its Police Department under a consent decree from the federal government for civil rights violations against black residents.

Oakland, California also has its police department operating under a consent decree. What do Oakland and Cleveland have in common? Years and years of an ultra liberal Democratic administration.

I'm sure one of the last objectives of the Obama Admin is to get as many large city PDs under Consent Decrees. They, Obama et al, have been trying to Federalize individual State Police forces ever since they took over in 2008. Rumor has it that Lynch was in Arizona to confer with the Phoenix PD when she met with Slick Willy. WE CANNOT ALOW THE UN (with Obama’s acquiescence) TO TAKE OVER OUR POLICE DEPARTMENTS. Period.

It's amazing to watch thugs, opportunists, professional rabble rousers, extremists, bigots, radicals, bored young people, naive college kids, violent paid agitators, self-hating Americans, disenfranchised Democrats and a liberal media all converge for one big goal:

Ensure that there will be massive protests and violent confrontation at the RNC.

For bored kids it's a once in a lifetime opportunity to relive the Hippy culture they never knew and recreate a 1968 DNC environment.

For aging Baby boomer hippies that have long since outgrown their radical stage, it's an opportunity to relive the glory days.

For new hate groups like the Black Panthers and Bowel Lives Movement Matter, it's an opportunity to really cause havoc and death.

For radical anarchists it's an opportunity to destroy anything and everything.

For the media it's the possible scoop of the decade.

What this all means is that they have hyped their objections to civil society, free speech and the possible election of a Patriotic American to levels never before seen...all designed to prove a point:

They have a grievance.

It is terrible that all of us are expecting trouble and perhaps may get it in the end.
