A measure of the quality of any leader is the condition of culture/society before and after their tenure. At the very least, he should not do any harm.
Reagan left Bush a legacy which the latter dismissed and dismantled; ushering in Clinton.
Bush 2, w/the blessing of an R Congress for 6 years; massively expanded governance and spending.
More critically he took us into a disastrous war. Why???
So as to bring “ democracy to the Arab” (his words). Like all pious types who wear they humanitarianism on their shirt sleeve; Bush was your quintessential busy body lacking judgement and the most critical attribute required of leaders; the Prudence to reflect on the impact in the future of an action taken in the now!
Saddam Hussein was the mortal enemy of our greater enemy, the Mullahs of Iran; hence he was our ‘friend’.
The consequences of removing him was to set the Middle East on fire; resulting in the destruction of multiple dozens of Christian Communities that dotted the Fertile Crescent since the latter centuries of the Roman Empire.
Wonder what this jackass will say to Saint Peter when he is asked, “So what have you done?”

Iraq might have stayed more or less quiet and ISIS-free if Obozo had not reduced the U.S. military presence there. The problem with seemingly all our presidents and congressmen now is that no one has the will or guts to do what it takes to win a war in the fastest time possible, and then do what it takes to enforce the peace. They stumble along with half measures, and eventually throw in the towel after military actions drag on forever with little to no progress made, and the corresponding loss of support from the public.
