I must have read a different article, because the author not only isn't an idiot Jew, he's on target, on an issue which could put Hillary in the White House.
Note his Israel Advisory Committee consists of exactly three Jews, including two who work for him...Trumps unusual campaign extends to its Jewish outreach, or rather his lack of Jewish outreach resembling anything that has come under that rubric in other campaigns
OK, maybe he doesn't want Jewish support, some of his supporters don't, but I don't believe that. And there's no indication it's true
Campaigns routinely distribute talking points to Jewish supporters and cultivate them as validators, folks who will appear on their behalf in the community and Jewish media making their case. But insiders say that Republican Jews who want to support Trump within their community have heard crickets. No talking points. No invitations to speak on his behalf to their communities. Calls by potential supporters and donors on behalf of daughters and nephews who want to volunteer go unreturned.
Again, if he doesn't want Jewish support, fine. But I don't think that's the problem. Cross out Jewish and insert any group of voters you like. From racial to religious groups, gun owners, pro life, and most importantly the states, it's my understanding the article would still be valid. Outreach organization is poor. As the author notes, if I wanted to speak at my Synagogue, or to a pro 2nd Amendment group, or any group I'd have no point of contact for support. For positions, to direct donors to. To direct volunteers to. For anything. There's an election in less than 4 months which on the ground will be fighting a well financed 8 year old campaign. I sincerely hope someone is working hard to catch up on state and local levels.
