If they are appointed, they can be de-appointed. Happens all the time.

If the president can hire, he can fire. Doesnt need a law to do hirinf and firing of appointed executive branch employees.

Absolutely correct. To the victor goes the spoils.

He does need law to fire career employees of any agency because previous Congresses passed and POTUS signed laws to leave that to the budget process and bureaucrats. And those agencies have signed contracts with unions.

It appears he will be seeking legal authority for his agency heads to fire those who are working against the stated agenda.

And if it happens it will be the best thing to happen in American governance in at least 30 years.

You guys clearly don’t know how civil service rules work. The issue is Obamanoids hired in civil service positions, not the overt political appointees who change with the Administration.

We face the same issue in the military.
