Listening to some of the ho-hum-ers this morning. Wallace on FoxNews: Trump needs Pence because Romney got 90% of the Republican support and Trump is only getting 80%.

Add to that the fact that Trump got almost 14 million primary votes — the most of any primary candidate in GOP history.

Newsies are still trying to apply the same old political spin. The problem is: Trump is not the same old kind of politician and his supporters are not just died-in-the-wool Republicans.
The newsies still don’t get it, or they think that by repeating the approved/preferred narrative they can sway votes.
A huge factor is 3rd party support for Johnson & Stein. Trump is not going to get Romney’s level of party support, but neither is Hillary going to match Obama’s party support.
