CLEVELAND — Here at the Republican National Convention, Donald J. Trump supporters are loud and proud, but there is growing evidence that when many return to their communities, they’ll tuck away their “Make America Great Again” hats and tees and hide their support until the moment they pull the lever on Nov. 8.
The result could be a historic win for Team Trump.

We have a situation in the Philly area. The radio guys on 1210 do nothing but backbite towards Trump. Dom Giordano is the worst. I find him to be nothing but a drag on our possible success. Anyone else feel this way?
There is great stigma to openly supporting Trump. And Trump hasn’t helped. While I believe he’s capable, and will try to hold his end of the bargain, some of his comments are really tough to defend, so I don’t. I just accept that everyone says some off the wall stuff sometimes.

Yes, but isn't it refreshing that there is a candidate that will say what's on his mind and mean it and even double down on it? I may not agree with how he says some things, but I'm glad he doesn't back down and actually gives it right back. Won't it be great to have a CIC like that?

Trump understands that anything he says in public is going to be broadcast to a wide audience. The MSM hates him, but they know he’s good for ratings and will have reporters covering him like a blanket. Trump is certainly bombastic and egotistical, but I think many of his “controversial” statements are calculated for public consumption and effect. He plays the media game better than any American in public life so the next time he says something off the wall it may be on purpose and is not the result of a spur of the moment thought.

I have no problem telling people I will vote for Trump. If they have a problem with it I tell them I would never vote for a corrupt, criminal bitch like Hillary. They usually shut up and slither away.
CNN is broadcasting ad after ad on wlw radio in Cincinnati promoting their coverage of Trump. They can’t stand him but sure want to make a buck off him. Wonder if they’ll have the gall to go to their talking heads during his speech? Best not let the low info masses hear him uncensored.
More dangerous than ever to openly support Trump - the other side will hurt your car and home and probably you too - I wonder how many are patiently waiting to give them the finger at the voting booth...
The silent majority exists. People that tolerated PC for decades now know it failed miserably, see the sad results in our youth and cities, the nastiness in minorities and illimmigrants, the failure of Obamacare, the growth of murderous violence, the nastiness of Hillary, perverts in women’s bathrooms. They’ll vote to put an end to it, it’s too close to their comfort zones now.
Exactly. After seeing how these activists and trouble-makers have been emboldened and encouraged by Obama and the other Democrats in office, the smart ones have figured out that confrontation isn't worth it.

On the flipside I don’t see many Hillary bumper stickers either. America has become so politically hot that we are all going cryptic with her beliefs, particularly when putting our cars and houses on the line.
I live in a deep blue state. I’m the owner of a beautiful, brand-new official red Trump MAGA hat, purchased from the Trump website.
There it sits—in its open box, in the back of a closet. I once put it on and adjusted it to fit. But I dare not wear it in public.
I hope that some day soon I can!!!!
