Trump said the media is spending more time talking about his wife’s speech, than H.Clinton’s email issue which threatened our national security.
I just wished this whole silly ‘controversy’ would go away. It doesn’t mean anything and is just so foolish. Only the MSM would keep this going on a Republican.

I HATE the Media with a purple passion.
I was like Carville, convinced it was a setup. But evidently that isn’t the case. So, absent malice, milk it for PR value. Especially next week!
It’s a reflection of how low everyone’s opinions are of today’s politicians that many people were convinced this was a dirty trick or Trump “trolling” the media for political points. Even “professional” pundits like Carville, Manafort, and Milo immediately went that route instead of exploring the possibility of a simple human mistake.
OK, now I am convinced. Trump just played them again with this episode.
This mea culpa could have come out yesterday. Instead Trump let side-by-side comparisons of his wife next to Michelle Obama circulate for an entire news cycle. All of which reflected very well on Mrs. Trump.
Then the speechwriter dutifully falls on her sword, only to have the magnanimous Mr. Trump allow her to keep her job. Damn this guy is good!
As this who-cares kerfuffle dies down, I hope those dear MF’s in the media will note that we shall follow the words said in the democratic convention, and when they utter someone else words, phrases and platitudes, we WILL wail and scream about THEIR plagiarism! I mean, SHOUT it out on Faceboot and Twitter until they ban us all!
You can’t voice platitudes without repeating something said by someone. And the democrats LOVE their touchy-feely platitudes, so this should be a fairly likely occurrence.

This wasn’t the speech writer’s fault ... Trump was right to turn down the resignation offer. Malania’s a sweet loving wife and Trump’s a loving and wise husband.
This makes is worse, alas. The aide says Melania said she admired Michelle Obama and read her some lines from Michelle’s speech over the phone. The aide then wrote the speech and included those lines, and gave the speech to Melania. So why didn’t Melanie recognize the lines which SHE HERSELF had recently read to the aide? Either Melania is a bit dim of brain or this is a hastily concocted fiction. I lean toward the latter. Ai ai ai.
