You either defend it , or (because it's true), you act like a pussy and start crying. Besides, it wasn't Trump that did that, it was media and blogs. It was people like commenters here on FR who attacked Cruz. We have a right to say what we think.
All these comments were designed for one reason...besmirch the other candidates on a personal level.

Of course, I have watched the video of Ted Cruz's 'family oriented' campaign commercials and they are just as INSINCERE and FAKED.
The MSM is playing us and we are playing along with it.

That phrase was the catchphrase/slogan (shouted out, on placards & T-shirts, etc.) of the Cruz supporters that tried to get a rollcall vote on the rules at the Monday meeting. That was an attempt to unbind the delegates on the first vote. They and Cruz obviously thought he could win the nomination that way, but they failed to get a rollcall vote.
Every delegate & official immediately knew that Cruz's use of that phrase in his speech was a call to his supporters to NOT vote for Trump and to write-in "Ted Cruz" in Nov.
There was a thread where FReepers were Photoshopping various people/objects into that shot of them supposedly watching Osama get killed.
It was fun.

Without actually ENDORSING Trump, Ted amde a great case for voting for Trump. If I was on the fence, Ted’s speech would have pushed me over to Donald’s team, or at least to the anti-Hillary team.
’m not defending nor attacking anyone. I’m not one of those here that latches on to a candidate like it’s some sort of religion.
I’m just pointing out what I observed tonight, which was mean and vindictive behavior, and definitely not in the best interest of the country.

Not sure who you believe was mean and vindictive. From my standpoint, this was Trump’s party—Cruz was invited to speak...if Cruz could not endorse like he pledged to do, he had absolutely no business up at the podium...if anyone was mean and vindictive, it was Ted Cruz!
