Levin will probably praise Cruz for ‘not selling out’ or being a man of principle. I would be very surprised if Levin criticized Ted for his failure to endorse the nominee.
There will be a lot of ruffled feathers that will need to be smoothed back down, badly bruised egos that must heal and scab over. That healing takes time, even years to occur.
I think the fact that Ted was turned away by rich man Adleson, might make Ted reconsider his Last Stand. Is it really worth it at this point?
Cruz/Levin and Beck are good for circus. These clowns lives in bubble and yap with each other.
Ummmm.....
I can speak only for myself, but that display of idiocy on the part of the trump delegates has further widened the rift.
What I saw tonight was nothing short of idolatry. There will be no mending of this fractured party. Not this year in any case.
Adelson and his cash, have no bearing on Cruz or any Conservative. It’s not and never has been a matter of money. What it is, is principle based. Trump and his supporters have violated all of them from my perspective.
Without principled leadership, there can be no true leadership, only a form of idolatry, group think, or better said, a mob.
I have been watching a mob.
A mob is quite capable of electing a politician. It has happened before.
But it has never led to anything good.
I would say that my words reflect at least some of what Levin is thinking tonight. I guess we will find out tomorrow.
In any case, I have said all I care to about this election and I do not plan to respond to any replies tonight. I am far too disappointed in that I had hoped I would be wrong about my assertion that the US electorate was beyond any chance of repair or return to sanity.
[in fine mundi]
See you at the polls.
