Question: Do you think Cruz, considering America’s short attention span, can come back in 4 to 7 years or do you think he’s totally finished? I believe he’s finished.

I’d just prefer not to have to discuss Ted ever again.
He is not a winner. He’s done in my book, has been for some time now.
I’m no expert, but I think that he’s finished as far as thinking people go.
There may be some hide-bound and narrow idealogues/cultists that will still support him; but he’s offended some pretty basic values that are common to normal Human Beings.
I wouldn’t vote for him, for anything. His brilliance was a come-on; his personal Nature, under duress, exposed the truth of his self interest.

I had lunch with a good friend today. The last time i saw her late last summer, she and her husband were very pro-Cruz, and she thought i was silly for even considering Trump.
Today, after we exchanged our hello's, the FIRST thing she said was, "Can you BELIEVE what Ted Cruz did last night? He's a D*CK!!!" That's what (name of husband) said last night and I agree with him!"
Yeah, i run into that a lot here in Texas. He'll be lucky to get past his Senate primary in 2018. Burnt toast.
The RNC won't forget his backstabbing and the good people of Texas won't forget in '18.
What's he going to do, to make a name for himself now ? You know that he'll be absent from the Senate, much of the time, hereafter, running to keep his seat, which I hope and pray he loses!
