In 1820, ME was extracted from MA. Henry Clay wrote the law.

To me it looks like they slightly overweighted Ds but greatly underweighted Indies.

I am well aware of how Maine came into existence....farms sprouted up and were obligated to give half of their yield to schools/universities...etc...for an agreed upon length of time...I would like to point out the current demographics myself.

Sanders won NH 60% to 38%. Lots of folks there not so hot about Shrillary. I expect Trump will spend a fair amount of time there pandering to Sander’s voters.

Has everyone seen this?
Hillary Clinton has seizure / convulsions - tries to play it off by making fun of seizures

Some comments by viewers in the FR forum regarding the video clip of Hillary.
I work with a guy who has the same thing. His head will bobble like a doll when he has to talk and is stressed. Early Parkinson?s onset according to him.
------------------
That may well be from her head injury days.
------------------
If anything it could be stimulus-sensitive myoclonus. It is triggered by a variety of external events, including noise, movement, and light. Surprise may increase the sensitivity of the individual.
------------------
The reporter obviously was the ?trigger? to Hilly?s head jerking reaction ..... it certainly surprised the reporter who cringed back & looked a bit horrified ... that reaction leads me to think something other than ?joking around? was going on with Hilly, whatever it was/is.
------------------
Wife is a neurologist and definitely thinks it was a seizure. An absence seizure. During these type of spells, patients can have automatisms (such as stereotype head jerking, or picking at things in the air) and brief lapses in awareness.
In an adult, absence seizures may result from brain pathology (such as strokes, head trauma, or tumors).

Wish he would have mentioned the heroin problem, particularly in NH where he saw it first hand and was moved by it. That would have helped in NH and NM and a few other states.

Bush was the last Republican to win NH, once, in 2000. He lost in 2004. Clinton won by 10 in 1996, won by a point in 1992, Bush crushed Dukaka by 20+, and Reagan won by 30.

No, it tracks with big winners-—Clinton over Dole, but a close race in 92 because the race was close. It’s a blue state now, but very gettable.
Consider that now Trump is
*Tied in NH
*Down only 4 in CT
*Down only 12 in NY
All of these are incorrectly weighted and would be even more favorable to Trump (I think he’s single digits in NY).
These should be gimmes for Cankles.

Thanks for the info.
My vote might count this year in NY!!!
I vote either way to add to the numbers. But it would be nice to be in play.

There's even more good news in this for Trump...
The poll was released Thursday, but ALL (or virtually ALL) of the polling was
completed BEFORE the convention began. It was polled over a TEN-day period: Saturday July 9 through Monday July 18.
And in a four-way match-up,
37% would vote for Clinton,
37% would vote for Trump,
10% would vote for Johnson,
5% would vote for Stein,
IF re-taken AFTER the convention, Trump would certainly be leading.

Who do you think that #### Johnson’s 10 points would go to. I have to imagine Trump. The greens take 5 percent from the dems, but that still leaves us out 5 because of dam libertarians.

That is a good way to look at it.
