A “polished” more presidential (perhaps) candidate might be Jeb Bush, or John Kasich or Mike Huckabee but nobody voted for them (s/).
I listened to the same speech this morning your talking about and instead of reacting your way I just laughed about it. I think most people are deciding to do that as well. Trump is going to be Trump no matter what but all that counts is that Hillary doesn’t get to appoint judges!

The Advocate, a gay-oriented magazine reported in its November 12, 1996, issue that Thibaut received an annual salary of $108,000, considered unusually high for a chief of staff.

Kasich was so insignificant in the primaries and made such a pathetic showing that I don’t think Trump even bothered to give him a nickname. But if he had done so, I wonder what the nickname would have been?
