Just a few years ago, Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert were must-see viewing even though they were hard Lefties.

And now--

1. Colbert has tanked the ratings of The Late Show after David Letterman retired.
2. Trevor Noah--Stewart's replacement on The Daily Show--has tanked the ratings of that show.
3. Stewart's very patronizing attitude on his appearance on The Late Show--not to mention looking like a slob on-air--may have permanently damaged his legacy.

How the mighty have fallen--and I love it.

Colbert had a ceiling of popularity and it wasn’t very high.....

Stewart was never nearly as good as his ratings might have suggested... he was just comfort food for the mentally challenged left.
