Ted Cruz humiliated himself last night and has virtually no defenders left (other than his alleged mistress Amanda Carpenter who wrote a Pro-Cruz article that Cruz retweeted.)
Take a look at what some of Ted Cruz’s own supporters posted on HIS Facebook page after he committed political suicide like a childish sore loser.

This stings more severely than Chris Christies’ antics with Obama, because it’s so damn obvious and intentional.
And because Ted was so very well thought of not that long ago. I’ll bet Rand Paul is having a couple of private laughs.
Why, so he can vote for more anti-sovereignty trade deals?
I believe he was given the promise of a Federal bench seat or higher from Hillary. He puts his eggs in the wrong basket.
Though I am pleased to witness his self destruction, I hope I never hear another thing about Ted Cruz. He was never eligible in my mind, and that topic was not permitted to be fully vetted here on FR, so I mostly held my tong, and I would have voted for him had he prevailed despite my core convictions about NBC. An originalist constitutional lawyer who by his own words ‘born on soil to citizen parents’ is ineligible should never have run for the highest office and still expected voters to believe he has any core convictions at all.
UnvetTED ... I believe the question still remains, and perhaps a SCOTUS ruling is the only remedy to solve the question, is Ted eligible ? I have read many opinions and know for certain only what I believe. If he plans to pull his head out of the sand and try this again in 2020, I pray that he is forced to have that question 100% legally resolved before the electorate is ever again asked to take up his cause.

I was a big Cruz supporter. I am embarrassed. He is done as far as I am concerned.
I know a few Cruzers who still like him and claim he did the right thing wednesday night. I told them they were delusional. These are very good friends of mine, but they are used to me giving them a hard time so we will remain friends. They will vote for Trump, but will whine and cry about it, but a whiny vote still counts.
