If Donald wins, I still see him somehow, forgiving Ted and offering him some responsibility in the administration. Trump is steamed right now, because time is of the essence. Trump is now officially our candidate. After a victory, after all the pagentry and splendor wear off. say before the end of 2017, I see Donald reaching out to use some of Ted’s considerable skills.
Perhaps just as an ambassador for a year or two to start small. Donald will want to utilize Ted’s skills. Perhaps by then, Ted would have grown enough to deal with leftover campaign frustrations. Ivanka or Don Jr. may try to talk their dad out of ever trusting Ted again for any reason. But I see him mulling it over, once the full duties of the presidency are known to him.
I can’t see any benefit to Trump in including Cruz in the administration, and lots and lots of negatives. Cruz would be working to sabotage from within 24/7.

President Trump should ignore him except when it proves absolutely necessary to deal with him.
What skills does Cruz really have? To know him is to despise him - some ambassador he’d make.
Cruz is now worse than untrustworthy. Instead, he is toxic. No amount of Cruz’s skills, which I no longer believe are of any value, can compensate for that massive liability.
WHEN Donald wins, look for him to endorse whoever primary's Cruz!
