Whenever President Obama feels defensive, he likes to talk about how the world has become more safe under his watch (with the implication that it's due to his own wise leadership).
We first heard him speak that way during the summer of 2014, when the world seemed to be unraveling and critics were blaming him for the sad state of affairs.
Obama said, "The world is less violent than it has ever been. It is healthier than it has ever been. It is more tolerant than it has ever been. It is better fed then its ever been. It is more educated than its ever been."

Queen of denial much? And, if you simply do the right thing and (s)elect hildabama, you'll have at least 4 more years of peace and prosperity under her brilliant (ain't nobody more qualified than her) leadership. Looks like the choomers are tokin' up once again.

The headline is probably factually correct.

Pure delusion.
Libya is a basketcase, becoming another Somalia.
Europe is being invaded by hostile jihadists.
Here in the US, Chicongo is continuing towards another record year of killing.

He was referring to our few millennia contrasted with the millions of years violent dinosaurs ruled the earth.

It may be a defensible statement from a globalist perspective.
There are fewer major conflicts between states and fewer civil wars than in years past.
That said, developed countries enjoyed relative peace and prosperity from WW II through 2000. We are now facing an existential threat, both from terrorism, and the depredations of an aggressive leviathan state which standing athwart history has not stopped.

How odd, that he says this on the same day that yet another Muslim terrorist attack was happening, this time in Munich.
Is it just me, or does it seem like there is a Muslim terrorist attack about once a week now, somewhere in the world???

Would you trust a race bating narcissist who says the world has never been less violent when he lives in a castle that is guarded 24/7 with 50 men who carry automatic weapons to protect him all the time and gives speerhes behind bullet proof glass?
Me neither.

Oh, By the way, are there any homeless people in Obung-hole's America? There shouldn't be one, if anyone listened to or believed Hopey 'D Clown's campaign rhetoric.

Sounds like he's speaking with the voice of experience.
So it was more violent in The Garden than it is today.
He would know, he was there.
