The comedy "Caddyshack" kind of reminds me of today's Republican Party. The GOP is Judge Smails (Ted Knight), Trump is Al Czervik (Rodney Dangerfield). The Judge is the snob who looks down on the wealthy developer - who is not "one of us".

Its all about money. The Republican Establishment is nothing but a incestuous cabal of insiders who offer campaign services. All of them from senator to pundit are invested directly or indirectly in these services. Campaign season is harvest time where they suck up all the money being spent from PACs and individual campaigns. This is why politicians continue to “fight on” even though they know they have no chance of winning. They are not try to revive their campaign, they are ringing every dime they can out of it.

Mr. Trump is not going to use Republican Establishment ad agencies , consulting services, or ineffective computer programs. Most of these services are way over priced compared to simular services offered outside the beltway. They are overpriced because the people who spend the money, friends, and relatives are profiting off of them. It’s all about to end. It will all be exposed.

The most threatening thing to the charlatans is that if Mr. Trump wins, he will have made all these people and their services irrelevant.

That’s why the Republican Establishment is so dead set against Mr. Trump.

And it’s about damn time it happened.
