Trump starts considering Cabinet
The Hill ^ | 23 Jul 2016 | Alexander Bolton

CLEVELAND — Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is already focused on picking people for his future Cabinet.

A day before accepting his party’s nomination and completing an astonishing political rise that has taken him to the heights of the Republican Party’s power, Trump met with his inner circle at the Cleveland Westin to discuss his possible transition.

Eric Trump told The Hill that his father is determined to put together a Cabinet that can help him turn around the country. He suggested his father would look to the private sector to find effective leadership for government.

“You have to have the best people, and you have to put those people in charge, and those people have to be the best at what they do, and that’s going to be my father’s message,” Trump said.

“If we’re going to have the biggest deals in the world, which are trade deals, why not have the best guys negotiate this? Why not have the Carl Icahns or the top guys of Wall Street?” he added. “It’s why they’re worth millions and billions of dollars. It’s because they’re tough and they’re shrewd.”

Donald Trump recently floated former Goldman Sachs executive Steve Mnuchin as a possible choice to head the Treasury Department, a development first reported by Fortune. Mnuchin serves as the national finance chairman of his campaign.

Icahn, one of the nation’s savviest investors, said last year he was not interested in heading Treasury.

“You’ll probably see a lot of people who are outside traditional Washington, D.C.,” Eric Trump added. “The people who are in there right now haven’t exactly done this country wonders.”

Sounds good and I believe Gingrich would do a great job for Trump and the country in a position like that.

He would be excellent at that.

Trump’s biggest talent seems to be putting the right people in the right job.

Well that’s the second shoe that needs to fall. The EPA and all the other unconstitutional Administrative/Regulatory State agencies are NOT cabinet posts. They are part of a totally unconstitutional Forth Branch of the Federal Government and, thus, represents pure, 100% uncut tyranny. The Administrative/Regulatory State needs to be blasted to kingdom come.

Corporate America has professional “hatchet men”, whose jobs it is to close large branches of corporations and fire people.

But Trump will need authority from congress to dismiss an s-load of GS (government service) employees. Actual fires should be well over a half million of the two million non-military federal employees.

Importantly, Trump also needs to appoint an entire new crew of federal prosecutors, and ones willing to go after federal employees who broke and continue to break the law.

Traditionally, not only do Republican presidents *not* go after the lawbreakers, but they continue to employ radicals who keep breaking the law. This must stop.

Many of his cabinet officers will have to immediately issue directives to their agencies ordering them to cease onerous behavior, end oppressive lawsuits, withdraw huge amounts of unconstitutional authority, as well as conducting thorough audits of how appropriations have been spent.

Eric Trump is right. Pull the brightest minds from the private sector to fix our country’s problems and clear all the career government teat sucking babies out of their offices. Having been around both the public / government and private sectors the best solutions always come from the private sector who are more motivated, more intelligent, better educated, better trained, and much more likely to provide solutions that actually work. The government titty babies just sit around trying to look like they’re doing their job so they can keep drawing ther paychecks and are usually not the brightest bulbs around. Kick’em to the curb.

Time for some other country to host the UN. They need to move, how about Iceland, Greenland, Australia or Germany, perhaps China?

After Cruz’s performance Wednesday, I wouldn’t think there’s many left who would want to be in the same room with him.

...and if that “same room” is the john? No [ ]ing way.

They are part of a totally unconstitutional Forth Branch of the Federal Government and, thus, represents pure, 100% uncut tyranny. I think the TSA is under the DHS but it probably goes under the heading of another unconstitutional Administrative/Regulatory State that needs to be blasted to kingdom come.
