Time for some other country to host the UN. They need to move, how about Iceland, Greenland, Australia or Germany, perhaps China?

For 40+ years I have urged that the U.N. Headquarters should be in a country like Haiti! They definitely would appreciate the economic boost and, as an added benefit, the grossly over-staffed and overpaid U.N. staff would reconsider their career choices! If they really "Care", they'll stay (unlikely). Plus, New Yorkers would appreciate being able to have more parking available!!!

Hey, I thought this was my idea! Yes, I agree, put the UN bureaucracy (hopefully much streamlined) in some 3rd world site asap.

“urged that the U.N. Headquarters”

I have for many years thought that it would be better if the UN HQ would be located in the Dingiest most war torn, Despotic location on earth. Let them make improvements there rather than partying and bickering amongst the hoy polloy of new York city in the wealthiest sector on the earth. They currently have zero incentive to improve the human condition while they’re drinking champagne and eating caviar in the luxury presidential suites. Maybe an annual vote to determine where their next location should be or if they should remain where they are. That will help them to Focus their Costly Efforts.

These people need a Charter Review!
