The function of the press is to advocate and to make a profit. Honesty is not a factor, except as it impacts "make a profit."

Just saying, "sabotaging an election" is what they do, except it isn't sabotage, it is merely playing the public for the suckers that they are.

There is no crime. This is entirely in the political realm. That the public believes the press is honest is simply a measure of gullibility and stupidity.

The purpose of the free press clause of the First Amendment was to keep an eye on people in power and maintain a check on corruption.
