CNN ^ | July 23, 2016 | MJ Lee

Speaking at Florida International University, a campus that is more than half Hispanic, Kaine described his vision for an inclusive country. Dipping in and out in Spanish several times, he drew on his experiences as mayor, governor and the time he spent helping Jesuit missionaries in Honduras to emphasize the importance of service.

Remember when Geo. Bush used Spanish on the campaign trail?
The left claimed his Spanish was low class ‘street’. He never spoke it again.
Whether that was the case, I don’t know.

Tim Kaine is a part of that tool.

I've been trying to find any evidence that Kaine is schooled in Liberation theology or simply a Catholic on a missionary trip...

Seems to be very little info on the web about details of his missionary trip...

Do you have any sources that are conclusive...?

I know if if quack like a duck, it must be a duck...

Pope Francis is a part of the Liberation Theology movement to transform the Catholic Church into an organ of anti-Capitalist Marxism.

Plain as day, yet some Catholics on this forum are blind to it..

My time is short today. I just did a quick Google. Tim Kaine worked for the Jesuit Volunteer Corps in Honduras. According to an “Atlantic” article:

“The Jesuit tradition has had a strong emphasis on social justice and at times a close relationship to “liberation theology,” which puts a theological primacy on advocacy for the poor and oppressed. While by no means exclusively a progressive organization, and open to all faiths and creeds willing to advance efforts rooted in this tradition, the Jesuit Volunteer Corps tends to self-select from young idealists who typically identify as progressive.”

For a start, go here for that article:
