I am currently ensconced in a lovely, oceanfront beach home on the NC shore. Even though it’s a balmy 95° to 100° outside, it’s a perfect 72° inside.
All would be perfect, but I’m surrounded by a herd of the wife’s in-laws...most of which are die-hard democrats.
Oh, did I mention it’s hot as Hades?
I think I’m gonna turn the A/C off and when these lousy Obama-voting, Clinton-loving, wine-sipping, cheese-eating purveyors of political misery start complaining, I’ll make them aware of Kerry’s pronouncement.
Lived in New Bern and had access to a friends ocean front home in Kitty Hawk for a number of years. We stayed there often.
It gets damn hot there. But oh so beautiful as well.
And family can be a PITA ... especially in the political season. Good luck with that.
