It was never going to be “JUST” a wall. The wall is a delaying tactic. It gives you time to react to an attempted intrusion.

Drones and or cameras can be 24/7/365 watch dogs, alerting border agents to respond to the locations. Electronically released tear gas or pepper spray could deter/delay invaders.

Electronically controlled machine guns or explosives would be a permanent deterrent.

The wall will work. The wall will be built, and Mexico will pay for it.

Screw the naysayers. “Can’t” never got anything done.

That's always been the goal of the open borders crowd, of course. They've colluded with the media for years to make the simple building and manning of a wall sound as difficult as a 1-hour flight to Alpha Centauri.
