I was able to listen to most all of the speeches, though didn’t get to day 4 until yesterday morning. IMHO I thought there were many very good speeches, though some were a bit better than others. I liked how they mixed it up with people from various backgrounds. I thought that the Trump kids and Melania as well as Pence all did a great job, as did Mr. T.

Don’t know about the other channels, but Fox and now Fox Biz (have that on now as I couldn’t handle Hillary on Fox)have been discussing the DWS and DNC email as well as her getting booed when speaking at the FL constituents this a.m.
It’s amazing to me that Hillary picked her up as honorary chair of her campaign about 2 seconds after she resigned.
I have felt for a long time that DWS is a lying witch. It would be great if a Pubbie could beat her and win the seat in the next election, but as I understand it, she’s in a very safe Dim district in FL.

That’s great he is connecting with them. I remember him speaking with folks in NV and he seemed to connect with them as well (gun club or something like that IIRC).

From what I’ve experienced (and this is just me), people in NYC and perhaps the NE seem to speak faster and those in the south a bit more slowly. Could also be the executive VP thing - I’ve noticed that those in high positions seem to speak faster - want to get things out and then move on so they can make another meeting or get something else done.

I don’t plan on watching any of the DNC convention. I heard that Moochelle, Bernie and Pocahontas will be speaking tonight. I’ll wait until tomorrow a.m. and see what they have to say on Fox & Friends. I don’t want to give the channels my tick for their ratings and I don’t think I could stomach watching/listening to any of the speakers or pundits/talking heads. I suspect that there will be a movie on the Hallmark Channel or Hallmark Mystery and Movie channel or a rerun of Castle or NCIS. If none of the foregoing, I’ll find something on xfinity on demand.
