(CNN) — Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz will not speak at or preside over the party's convention this week, a decision reached by party officials Saturday after emails surfaced that raised questions about the committee's impartiality during the Democratic primary.
The DNC Rules Committee on Saturday named Rep. Marcia Fudge, D-Ohio, as permanent chair of the convention, according to a DNC source. She will gavel each session to order and will gavel each session closed.

What's really going on at the moment is that she knows she's a goner, and she's deep into negotiations with the DNC for a golden parachute to glide her out of her chairmanship.
She's in excellent position to negotiate her departure. After all, who would know more DNC dirt than little Debbie??? Who better than Debbie herself or through surrogates to pull Hillary down the tubes in the critical months before the presidential election?
Because of what she knows and what she might do with it, Debbie should get a VERY sweet "retirement package".....and by buying her off, the DNC will be rid of her and hopefully insure she won't spill any secrets, ever.
I wish Debbie all the success in the world in "taking" the DNC in return for her $ilence....and I wish the DNC all the success in the world in taking her down.

It seems amateurish to make a big play stealing light from the Ticket during convention week.
This tainted situation could convince folks there’s just too much of it in the Democrat party, and could it could rub off on Hillary and what’s his name.
